Analysis of status on use of potentially harmful substances and application of sustainable procurement practices in healthcare sector of the Republic of Moldova

In the period September-October 2019, in the framework of the Sustainable Health in Procurement Project (SHiPP), supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the team of experts conducted the analysis of status on use of potentially harmful substances and application of sustainable procurement practices in healthcare sector of the Republic of Moldova. The report describes the results of analysis of status on use of potentially harmful substances and application of sustainable procurement practices in healthcare sector in the Republic of Moldova. The results are indicative of the likely use of hazardous and high concern chemicals in the healthcare sector, context of their use, and in case of the generation of hazardous waste, their treatment mode.
